Should I buy this 1988 Dodge Ram 50 w/ 98k miles as my daily driver? I have not gone to look at the car in person yet but the body, paint, and interior are in good/really good condition and they're asking for $2800. What I'd like to know is... How many more miles can I expect? Are parts difficult to find? How much should I pay for it?

No reason you can't daily drive it. It's just a Mitsubishi Mighty Max in drag. From what I can see most of them rotted into the ground before the engines wore out.
I had a factory manual for the 87 and it took me over three years to sell it on eBay, that gives you an idea how much demand there is on these. I would look at Rock Auto and see what parts are available readily for it.
