Hey Scotty,
I found an 11 Avalon Limited through a dealer which has caught my eye. It's black with two-tone leather and all the whistles. It has 101 K and they're asking 14 K (I live in Ohio) It does have a matching Carfax report. I haven't driven it yet nor had my mechanic check it out. I do have a few concerns. One, I think 14 K is still a bit pricey for this car, albeit an Avalon. What do you think? Secondly, since that car was state of the art for it's time, could I run into a lot of pricey repairs as a result since the car is approaching 13 years old. My present vehicle is a 07 Grand Marquis with 93 K. I'm the second owner and It's mechanically sound and well maintained. I'm just getting that itch for something different, but I know with that can come extra cost and potential headaches. I trust your opinion, Scotty. That is why I'm reaching out. Thanks, Joe
Well they are really well made vehicles and that's not that many miles for a Toyota Avalon. But I agree with prices. They've all gone insane. For instance, 10 years ago I bought Alexis ES300 for 3 grand with 65,000, mi
I agree with you 100 percent. It stinks having a car payment if you don't buy it outright. Besides, my Grand Marquis isn't giving me any issues right now. I use it as mainly a highway cruiser. If I'm ever down in your neck of the woods, Id like to show it to you. You've had a few on your channel already, and you always sing their praises. Take care, Joe
