should i buy this 1.6 diesel VW Golf TDI, its 2013 and around £8,000 , its being sold by a dealership and has around 70,000 miles i want a car thats not too slow and will last me a long time is this a good idea?

If it has a manual transmission, it can be a decent one.

I've owned two VW's both didn't last long without consistent problems. A coworker bought a new one and had problems with it but he did like the car. Maybe you will have a different experience but I wouldn't.
