Nearly $18,000 for a 13-year-old Tacoma? What are they smoking at that stealership? For what it's worth, kbb.com pegs the "fair dealer price" of that truck at about $15,000 and that's inflated.

I wouldn't even trust that because some dealerships do remove a vehicle and say it's sold only to bring it back later for at times a higher price.
the 2023 Tacoma is the last year of the previous generation; if you can afford it buy a brand new 2023 and you'll be set for a good amount of time.
I think the dealership ignored that the truck is 13 years old when they came up with such price tag. You need to remind them the used car market isn't hot anymore. 18K for a 13 year old truck is too much. We are already back to pre-Covid time. I wouldn't pay more than 9k for it.
