Hi Scotty, I recently bought a 2012 VW GTI base, 6 Speed Manual with 93K miles...I know I know lol.  im asking for it right? lol. From what i can see in the vehicle history of the vehicle, the sparks/ignition coils and trans fluid haven't been changed.  I haven't had any issues so far, been driving it for about 800 miles with no problems. Should I change out the trans fluid and sparks/Coils, just to be on the safe side? Or is it better to wait until/if I feel anything out of the ordinary? Thank you for your time Scotty, God bless.

Should I change out the trans fluid

Yes, manual transmissions are splash lubricated and don't rely on clutch discs and steels to change gears like an automatic.

the sparks/ignition coils

I would go ahead and change the spark plugs. If there's no codes associated with coil packs, leave them alone. They're not a regular maintenance item unless one breaks down. If it does break, use only original equipment for the new coil pack(s).
