- Hi. I’m looking at a 2003 Toyota 4Runner V8 258k miles. It has a dent in the back. They’re asking $4,200

The windshield is cracked, it got rear ended, it has 260k miles, and the whole thing is very dirty and old. Those v8's require tons of money of maintnence and it will be a hassle to keep this thing running. I would've told you to consider it if it were a v6, though. I'm sorry, but it's a terrible deal.

Good thing: it is a 2WD.
Bad thing: has a V8. The previous owner beat the heck out of it. Too much money for an old truck with that mileage.
I would consider a V6 instead.
