Hi Scotty. I have a 2006 KIA Sedona "made in Korea" with 108,000 miles that was a lease/rental vehicle that I bought with only 14,000 miles in late 2007. I used to do all the maintenance on my cars. I'm 74, live in western PA., & can't do it anymore (except for oil changes & brakes). I've kept up on all the maintenance so far except for this issue of changing the spark plugs. It still runs great with no leaks or oil loss, but fuel economy is dropping. I can't change 3 of those plugs because it requires taking the top half of the engine apart (My engine rebuild days are long gone! ☹️ ). I really do NOT want to go to MY LOCAL dealer. Do you think I should get this done soon? What are your thoughts on the best way to find a GOOD engine mechanic?... It's not easy! You live too far away. LOL
Love your show and your many useful ideas & info. Dennis.
Usually spark plugs are changed every 100,000 miles (good quality ones) iridium. If you wanna play it safe, go ahead. You could extend also, but if it makes you feel better, go get them changed.
