Should I keep 2021 GV80 that has to have engine replaced? 3:5 T Otestige 16,700 miles. (bad head gasket?
Purchased new. several issues. but now after having it towed in and at dealership two months to replace defective head gasket. It broke down again. New dealership has order new Engine to arrive early Nov. Under warranty but would like to get rid of it.
Well it's a Hyundai/Kia product so I'm not surprised that it's having so many issues already. Is the engine replacement part of a recall or are they charging you? Asking because dealerships charge an arm and a leg compared to a trusted independent mechanic. If recall work wait till they fix it and get rid of it. If not recall work then see if a trusted independent mechanic can fix it for less just so you can get rid of it.
it is covered under warranty. Dealing with corporate now.
Great then have it fixed for free and then get rid of it.
I will sell but no idea what to buy. Tow truck driver told me he was towing lots of new vehicles.
Buy a good Toyota/Lexus or Honda. They're still the better ones out there and will last if you take care of them. For more durability buy something that doesn't have a turbocharged engine.
Needs a new engine with less than 17,000 miles on it - and all those other problems? I'd get rid of the stupid thing after it's repaired before it breaks down again.

It seems that quality is down across the board for just about all new vehicles. Today they are engineered first for regulatory compliance, with reliability and durability far down the list of priorities. Toyota/Lexus still appears to be the best of a bad lot.
