Scotty, thank-you so much for the wealth of information that you supply for car owners. I own a 2016 Ram Big Horn with a 5.7 Hemi engine (4x2), automatic transmission.
The truck has 52,000 miles. So far, it has run flawlessly and has been the best vehicle I have ever owned.
The ride is smooth, it has plenty of power, lots of features and gets decent gas mileage for this size vehicle.
My question is: Should I sell this truck and get out while the getting is good? My concern is that I may be driving a time bomb.
I have seen your videos on the Hemi tick and also other reliability issues with these trucks.
Finally, I will need another truck to replace this one and the prices are sky-high for all models. Can you offer an opinion as to what I should do! Thanks!

I would keep your RAM. If you keep up with the maintenance, you won't be having any problems anytime soon.
As kesterpaul says, good maintenance goes a long way. On the other hand, some design flaws are eventually fatal. My son in law just got rid of his Ram truck, same year as yours, and got a Tacoma. His 5.7 had 150k on it and began misfiring. Was looking at having to replace the engine, decided it wasn't worth it. Good luck.
DEFINITELY keep it. Maintain it religiously, and drive it gently. The hemi is going out of production. Within a few years, you won’t be able to buy a V8 truck at all, as automakers change to turbo-6’s and (spits) electric. Your ol’ V8 will be a very desirable commodity.
