hi scotty i have a 04 mercedes slk 320 with 140 miles.i have noticed when i first start the car when its cold it takes 2 or 3 seconds for throttle to respond but if i turn the engine off and start again it works fine.and its ok as long as car is warm and again starting cold it does it again so i basiclly have to start on and than off and start again to have good throttle response what gives? thanks

3 or 4 seconds is not a big issue, I would live with it, let it warm up.
OK but what is the cause of it ?some sensor or actual throttle body? thanks

One of those issues that require in person diagnosis. To many options, from computer issue to sensors, cold starts controls.
thanks

If you get no error codes just drive on.
