Smoking Breaks

Topic starter

Today I’ve put on new front break pads and rotors.  Whenever I lightly press on the break, I hear a light squeak.  When I arrived back home I saw some smoke coming out of the rotor area.  I took it back to the shop and got one of the calipers replaced.  I still hear the slight sound and there’s still some smoke.

Smoking Breaks

This is something certain guys at work do every 15 minutes

You probably have an axle seal leaking fluid onto the BRAKES, causing them to produce smoke when you put on the BRAKES.
