So Scotty I would really appreciate your help, cause I trust no one here in maine from experience ha, but any who, I wanna replace evrything I need to on my 2011 ford crown victoria police interceptor, long story short, bought a car from Arizona for the purpose of the low miles and rust free condition and was "TOLD" it was mechanically sound haha salesman told me that, I runs and starts and never seems to make me feel at all it will break down, but I'm super observant and just know my car can run smoother with all motorcraft parts and ngk iridium sparks plugs and all and any fluids and filters and even pulleys and belts replaced, so sorry scotty but I only trust you and im sorry for the story, main question is, what systems will be affected by 11,792 idle hours which is only in park and neutral, you probably already know that, and 77000 odometer miles on it. Please and thank you very much and thank you for all the very helpful and knowledgeable videos and input.
Your main wearing serviceable parts for idle time is engine oil which is the worst then fuel system amd spark plugs. I would do an oil change and spark plugs and run some fuel cleaner through it and you should be fine
I've done the spark plugs , oil change , tranny fluid and filter, idler, tensioner and pulley, coolant change and hoses. Belt. I have some grime on the inside of my throttle body, probably take the whole thing off, but I've done all that, yes better but it still shakes. So I've done my road test to see if it's tranny, throwing it in neutral seeing if anything changes, in and out of overdrive and it shakes at slow speeds then comes back around 45 and 50 gets the worse at a constant 50 mph. Clunk from the rear.
Do you trust engine restore?
If your clunk or vibration is from the rear I would look more closely at the tires and your rear differential. I would rotate the tires and see if there is changes while driving
