2022 Škoda Fabia; 1.0 TSI; 81 kw; manual transmission.

When on the move; some strange noises can be heard coming from the dashboard. It happens during every drive. The dealership I am taking it to are fully booked till the 4th of August; I just wanted to know if Scotty or any of you moderators could tell me what is wrong with my car.

Thanks.

Something in the dash seems to be loose. Try to search forums dedicated to this specific car to find more information before going to the dealership.

Not surprising for cars that are low-priced entry-level cars. Sounds like cheap plastic parts in the dash rubbing.

It looks to me like the illumination on your flasher warning button is blinking out intermittently.

A shame when you've got a basically brand new car and the dealer who sold it to you can't look at these problems for weeks?

Does the noise go away if you turn off the fan/air conditioner? Maybe something fell into the fan.

I thought you had said earlier that your Skoda was performing flawlessly?

This is common occurrence in the new generation of Skoda (and VW) vehicles. Brace yourself for door handles snapping off, HVAC vents breaking and various other ridiculous niggles in brand new VW Auto Group vehicles..
