My Dad purchased this Toyota PU brand new in 1985. Most websites claim that it wasn't produced until 1986
It's a 1985 Toyota SE5 Extra Cab 2WD Gas Turbo Automatic 135,000K virtually no rust ( including the bed ) It has virtually every option except power windows. Since it looks very close to a 4 Runner I'm wondering if power windows from a 4 Runner can be implanted in my PU? Not being able to reach the window crank while driving; it would be THE BEST upgrade that I can make to it. That said, the truck is original TAN color with brown strip decals which are faded and peeling off.
If I sell it; how do I find value? My Dad purchased every manual produced by Toyota when he purchased the truck
The 4Runner was basically the Pickup with a cab. My guess would be that they are compatible, since they are virtually the same car, but I don’t know for sure.
Check with a junkyard that has access to the Hollander interchange manual.

Would this make this model year worth more money do to it's rarity?
I'll check for the power window parts. It looks like everything is there for a change over if the parts are available.
Selling it as is probably makes the most sense.
