What is the difference in sound between worn wheel bearings and a rear differential decoupler ?
2006 Toyota RAV4 4wheel drive 6 cylinder automatic trans

Checking if the bearings are worn out is really easy and can be done in 15 minutes in your driveway.
Checking your 4WD system is much, much harder.
