- Have a 2009 Nissan Altima 2.5 engine about 175000 miles. Replaced the hub assemblies on all 4 wheels. Last one I replaced was the front passenger wheel. After I replaced that, speedometer stopped working. Did I possibly bump a sensor or something else when replacing the hub assembly? Thank you for your help Scotty.

Is just the speedometer inoperative or is the entire gauge gauge cluster dead?
Think the speedometer is just inoperative.

The speed sensors in the hub are usually only used for ABS. Gauge speed is usually taken from the transmission. But I'm not a Nissan expert.
I would check the speed with a diagnostic tool.
Thanks, will try that.
