Car: 2016 Toyota Corolla S

Mileage: 46,000

Automatic. Bought in 2018 from used car dealership.

My car sometimes squeaks when going through certain uneven bumps. I had inspect and touch the strut and find no oil leaks. What could be the problem? Additionally, when I am about to turn in street corners I tend to slow my car down quite a bit due to the feeling of "body roll" in low speed. Not sure if this is a supension problem or just a Toyota thing.

By the way, I live in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, and is few minutes away from Providence. Any plans for fans meeting or short visists? Thank you.

Squeaks can be a lot of things, but it is usually just the rubber bushings making noise. Have you noticed if it squeaks in the rain also? If it only happens in dry conditions, it's just your bushings. In the wet, the rain water will lubricate the rubber just enough to keep them quiet.

Before you try to track down a problem, I'd wait and see if it goes quiet when it rains. It could be that simple and if it is bushings it is totally normal.

My dad's 1999 Camry had that crazy noise passenger side, rear shock. I looked up many articles and other forums trying to find if its a common problem. I forgot all the details but it was related to the shock Mounting at that post. The mechanic my Dad used didn't understand the cause either. When my Dad showed it to the mechanic, he checked it out. His words, "I'll be damned". Was an honest mechanic, did Not charge my Dad doing the inspection. Then when showed him the possible problem, he did the work. And discounted it. My Dad was a good customer to him. Sadly, both passed away. Do a search of problem Toyota shock mount. I have to look again because I have the car. Its been 12 years now since the problem. And have the same noise again. It was a Toyota flaw. I don't know what the remedy was. If I find it, I'll post

Scotty has made some videos about squeaking car noises. By spraying some silicone spray on one by one rubber bushing you may find the ones who squeak.
