Hey Scotty love your videos could use your help though cuz you might know something got a 90 1990 dodge spirit with the 2.5 l do you believe it's an inline 4 Chrysler motor runs strong. I do believe it has a hundred and twenty thousand miles bought it from a private owner and has an engine squeaking was once thought to be the belts replace the belts and it's still squeals just not as bad what could it be it's on the same side of the motor the belts were on what could it be please help
Well, more often than not if it's still squeaking you got a bad bearing something. The belt drives like the alternator or water pump. So remove the belts and if the noise goes away then start wiggling stuff till you figure out what's worn. If it still makes noise when the belts are off then it's internal to the engine and you'd have to take that apart
