2010 Dodge Challenger why is my muffler squeaking?

Have a 2010 dodge challenger, it’s having a squeaky sound coming i think from the muffler. Sometimes it makes the sound but sometimes it doesn’t, it’s only on idle. When I drive it it doesn’t sound. And when the rpm drop or get higher it can make it or not. Could it be the muffler has a leak?

Like @MountainManJoe says, when is the last time you had your muffler bearings serviced? Since modern muffler bearings need far less maintenance than in years past they are often overlooked.

Yet another one of those "sealed for life" parts that inevitably fail, and then you have to replace the whole darn thing instead of just servicing it. *shaking my head* What is the world coming to.

Mufflers don't squeak if they have a leak they make a roaring sound but they are hung up with hangers maybe the hangers loose or maybe something else try my video finding the source of car noises Scotty
