- Hi Scotty, I own a 2019 Honda Civic Sport Sedan 6-speed MT with the 2.0L. Very often (but not all of the time) my clutch pedal will squeak as I’m putting the car into gear. It seems that the squeaking only happens at the clutch point when you are slow to let it out and giving it some gas. I took it to the dealer and they keep telling me they can’t replicate it. I did a test drive with one of the mechanics there to show him the squeaking, only for him to pass it on to a different mechanic at the dealer who also cannot replicate the squeaking. These dealer mechanics really don’t care. Any ideas what the issue might be?

Check all friction points of your clutch linkage and lubricate and adjust.
