Hi Scotty,
2004 Nissan Senra 1.8L. Every time I start my car up I’m having a squealing noise. The belt Does not have any signs of wear damage I’ve been replaced a year ago. Would it be a tensioner or a pulley Can you tell me how can I find out I spray water on the belt and the noise did go away does that mean is the belt or a pulley? How can I tell what is bad?
thanks!

slip the belt off, and turn each pulley by hand. They should turn freely, smoothly, and silently. If the pulleys are fine then the belt is worn out. It's an inexpensive part to replace.
