Hi, and first of all I wanted to say I love your videos man!
So, I have a manual '06 Toyota Aygo with 26k km on it and purchased it just recently from and old granny that used it only for shopping and to go to mass. (Hence the low mileage.)
I drive it to work into city center almost every day and as you can imagine I often have to squeeze my car into tight parking spots. (Thank God it's a small car and perfect for the job)
That requires me to lock my wheel fully to one side very often. Few days ago I locked my wheel to the left and heard some ugly scrubbing noise when it locked.
When I come home, I usually park reverse on my drive, and lock my wheel to the left to do it. I know exactly where to stop when I approach the parking spot, so when I lock my wheel, I can squeeze into my parking spot just perfect using this method. But after that ugly scrubbing noise happened before getting off the parking at work, when I got home, locked my wheel to the left and tried to park, I noticed my car went further away then it was supposed to!
So I noticed my wheel can turn a bit more to the right that to the left right now and I am afraid something is broken. Please help!
Well I would jack up the front and see if something's broken cars are supposed to turn exactly the same amount of turns to the left until the right check for tie rods bent parts worn ball joints stuff like that. See my video how to check out your car's suspension system yourself Scotty
