Dear Scotty,
I used the Blue Driver scan tool on my 2008 Subaru Forester XT and these 2 codes showed up for the ABS: (VDC - Vehicle Dynamic Control) codes 4146 and 4702. I can't find anything on line to explain what these two codes are or mean. Blue Driver says that no description is available and that the code is rare. Should I have a mechanic check it out, or can I safely ignore the codes? As Far as I can tell, the breaks are functioning correctly.

- Well I would need the actual entire code because there's no such thing as 4146 code. It would have to have letters in front of it such as I or p. I would need the entire code to analyze.

Well, BlueDriver only gives those codes. It does indicate that they are VDC (vehicle dynamic control) codes pertaining to the Anti-lock Braking System.
