Subaru for my first car

Was looking into a used 2019 Subaru Impreza 2.0i 20,000 wanted to hear from someone if this is a bad investment or maybe I should go another route. But mostly I wanted to know if anyone had had problems with this specific car or know of any problems and if it'll result into a money pit situation.

I like them, make sure you do the oil changes every 5-6k, also rotate the tires bc the awd system. MPG on those arent the best.

Yes, should be fine. Change the oil + filter every 5000, front and rear differential fluid every 30000, and spark plugs at 60000. All of that is possible to do yourself to save money.
Regarding the CVT, don’t tow with it and change the fluid at 100,000 and it should be fine.
Good luck!

The schedule per Subaru Impreza maintenance booklet only says to "Inspect the CVT fluid" every 30k miles (30k-60k-90k etc.). I've seen videos on YT where cvt fluid was very dark at those intervals.

Just stay on top of the maintenance and it should be ok, but since it's used, have it checked out by an independent mechanic
