Yesterday I worked on a 15 Forester with 55000 miles. The y connector for the washers broke. The retainer clips for the cowl were also designed to break. This may be nickel and dime stuff, but I figure I share this with you. Happy Thanksgiving Scotty

Yep. They’re good for what they are. But they are inexpensive cars with inexpensive parts.

They're all doing it, even "high end" makes like BMW which attaches all kinds of cheap plastic components to their engines. If the only problems you run into are things like a few busted clips and a washer connector consider yourself lucky. (My eyes go sideways when I see the plastic intake manifolds on most modern engines.)
