hi I am going to be taking my 2005 honda civic LX-G with 203600 km on a road trip this summer and what are the things i should check before going on my trip. i bought the car last year in september and i have only changed the battery so far and that was in october 2020. Also the car always goes towards the right when diving. should i get that checked out and fix it before going on my trip
thank you
In addition, change the engine oil/filter and transmission fluid (drain and fill, with filter change).

I drive back and forth to Vegas every few months. 100% Definitely check the pulling before you go. Discount will lift the car and check free. My car started pulling and I checked I couldn’t see til I had it jacked up, the tire had bubbled and split down the center tread exposing the steel wires. Scary! I’m glad I looked before getting on the highway that would have been a bad desert blowout. Even if you don’t know how to check the fluids At the minimum check tire surface for nails and tire pressure, grab a tire pump and can of fix a flat like Scotty said, you can’t get far or fast on a donut.. but make sure yours is good so you don’t hurt your car getting to a tire place if you need to, battery check, have someone look to make sure your headlights and brake lights work, coolant, check oil level and top it off if it’s a little low, my older car burns oil and you don’t want it to get too low on the road, and I like to make sure the windshield wipers are good and the fluid is full to get the bugs off on the highway, keep $20 cash even if you always pay with cards so if you need a tire changed or patched or anything you can give it to someone who helps you out along the way. 🙂
