Superduty diesel, to superduty gasoline engine/tranny swap

Ok community I'm in a bit of a dilemma here. I bought a 2000 Ford f450 superduty with a powerstroke diesel engine, almost right when the CARB handed down their insane demands to be able to register it as a personal use vehicle in California. Needless to say it still got driven. Recently I got word that the reverse went out so here's the situation so far engine= evil untaggable diesel, and in this corner the transmission is almost dust.

Is it possible to swap out the diesel motor and tranny and drop in a gasoline motor/tranny. If so, then what else needs to be done, and what size motor tranny combo do u suggest to still allow me to tow a HD dump trailer behind it? I feel like I'm gonna get so far into it that I'm going to run into a brick wall sized stupid problem like (for example) the driveshaft yoke is not gonna match up. Can I get away with Any of this or do I need my common sense challenged. Much love and road grime, till next time -ScrapperNick

You can but it is not meth hassle to switch from gasoline to diesel or diesel to gasoline you're better off getting another vehicle really
