Supertech vs Name Brands

Scotty, I have an 06 Accord with 236K miles, with the 2.4L VTEC.  I change the oil every 5k miles.  I have been using the Walmart Supertech Synthetic 5w20 and usually use the Supertech oil filter.  Never had an issue with either product.  Any issues with using Supertech instead of say Castrol, Mobil or say a Wix or Mobil Filter?

Nothing wrong with SuperTech oil, it's made by Warren Oil, an oil company that has been around since the 1920s and is the largest independent manufacturer and blender of lubricants. I've been using it for years.

I don't know who makes the SuperTech oil filters though, and usually use NAPA Gold filters (made by Wix).

If it meets the specification in your owner's manual then it's good enough.

It's the same oil but in differently labeled containers.  As long as it satisfies the manufacturer's specs, it's OK.
