Hi Scotty,
I have a 2011 Honda Accord Euro (Acura TSX) with 175,000 kms (108,000 miles). On hotter days when the weather gets above 30 C (86 F) I can feel and hear a knock or clunking coming from the front passenger side when coming to a stop, accelerating from a stop or when moving slowly. My mechanic hasn’t been able to diagnose it as it only happens on hot days. Car still drives fine and handles great, but the noise when it comes is very annoying. Is this something to be concerned about or should I just try and ignore it and avoid driving the car on hot days? Thanks! Big fan from Australia.
Usually temperature related noises are most commonly rubber like a bushing or something but it could also be in the axle/splines but with metal heat expands and will usually make noises go away while hot rubber gets softer and can make noises if it’s worn out. I would start with inspecting all the bushings while it’s hot
Have you checked your engine mounts.....
