Just considering purchasing a 2011 Suzuki Swift 1.3 ddis but got sidetracked after reading some reviews. Some owners of this model complain about the diesel engine not being very economical and excessive tyre wear on the rear chassis including expensive Continental tyres. Anyone who owns a Suzuki Swift had any of these issues mentioned above?

Well Suzuki pulled out of the United States a long time ago cuz their vehicles are too small and crappy for Americans. But I saw a ton of money I was on the British Virgin Islands if you can get parts of the stupid things and you can get one cheap enough they're okay vehicles if you don't do long-distance traveling much
I don’t think anyone on this forum currently owns a Swift.
The Swift is alright, but on Japanese cars you should get a petrol. The 1.3 diesel is a FiatChrysler built unit - it’s not that efficient and not that reliable. I’d just get it with a 1.2L petrol, reliable and efficient enough

Wrote about this engine (MultiJet 1.3) in this post. As you can see - it’s “meh”
Is it possible as a car DIY guy to remove, inspect, clean and refit fuel injectors on a diesel car? So damned expensive to have a garage repair.
I understand also if you fit new injectors they require new washers and re-coding ? Or do they?? Will the Ecu adapt to a new injector?
please post a new question. Thanks.
