I have a 2020 Toyota C-HR with the 2.0 liter engine and a 2013 Scion xD with the 1.8 engine. Both use 0W-20 oil. Should I switch to the new GF-6a oil or jus continue to use what it requires? The C-Hr has 20,000 miles and the Scion has 115,000 miles
Thanks

The GF 6A is backwards compatible, that means it is safe to use in engines that requires GF5, GF4 etc. GF6 oils have improved on turbocharger protection, chain wear and protects against low speed pre ignition LSPI.

Stick to what is recommended in your car manual. Change the oil frequently (5k miles) is more important than the oil itself.
