I have a 2001 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner with the 3.4 V-6 engine....I think I may have a short in the system, where do I start to look.
I feel that they may be a short in the system because I disconnected the negative cable and I did a negative battery post to negative cable test with a circuit tester and the light on the tester lit up.
If this is a short, where do I start to look

Scotty's video is the bee's knees. Start pulling fuses and when the light goes out, you have found the circuit. Also, check all your grounding connections for tightness and corrosion.

The problem is solved, one of the wiring harnesses was bad, the shop took care of that for me
