2013 Tacoma V6 78k miles automatic
I am hearing a metal tapping sound/rattle over bumps or turns, maneuvering in the parking lot, parallel parking or driving over uneven road surfaces. I will even hear it sometimes when I shift into drive, or when the transmission upshifts or when letting off the gas. And sometimes I hear it when the back wheels hit a bump. It sounds like it's coming from the front center.
I have brought it to the shop twice and they checked the suspension and couldn't find anything. Any ideas?

Look up ‘finding source of car noises Scotty’ on YouTube and there should be a video where he uses a headset and clips on receivers at different locations on the vehicle. Scotty claims this technique always helps him to pinpoint any noise.
