[Solved] Tailpipe smoke

Topic starter

My tailpipe on Honda Accord 2016 is blowing out white smoke. 56484 miles automatic. I just recently replaced air compressor. Also my battery has been dieing lately. I tend to sit in car with air on for 20 min or more sometimes. I just noticed white smoke coming out of tailpipe. Could this be related to any of the above? Head gasket maybe?

Really? On a 2016

I watched the videos but I was hoping it wasn’t that serious . Because it’s not old and because I’m a girl lol

Yeah it could be a head gasket problem or worn out piston rings/ worn out engine

watch Scottys YouTube video about it

could be as mentioned above or it could be running rich idling could be heating the engine enough to cause the Ecm to adjust fuel for a heat management either way its not the best thing to let and engine idle for extended periods of time

Check the radiator fluid after the engine cools down.  Is it losing coolant?  Is it discolored or look like oil is mixed in?

Check the oil level.  Is it losing oil? Open the oil cap and look for frothy brown inside the cap.

There are other fuel injector/computer issues than can cause some exhaust smoke.

Best to get it checked out soon.  Good luck!
