In one of Scotty's latest videos, he says the Tesla Model Y rides like crap.  What is it about this car that makes it ride like crap?  What can be modified about the car so it doesn't ride like crap?  What Toyota or Honda would be comparable to the Model Y's "rides like crap" feeling?

Basically any compact or subcompact car in my opinion rides like crap and they are uncomfortable due to their small size and cheap feeling seats. Honda Civics, Toyota Corollas, Mazda3, Toyota Yaris, Honda Fit, etc. I have ridden in or driven every single one of those cars I listed and I don’t like them. I had a 2013 Honda Civic and I gave it to my brother, despite it never having any issues, because I didn’t like how it rode and I was never able to get used to the claustrophobic cabin or the uncomfortable seats. Even on smooth roads, I could feel everything and nothing was wrong with the alignment or suspension. My back would be sore after long drives. So I got a 2019 Toyota Camry SE and it is way more comfortable and it rides way better and I no longer get back pain after long drives. My friends even tell me that the Camry is waaay more comfortable than my Civic. My mom has even gotten sick of her 2014 Civic lately because she recently started driving out to LA on a regular basis and started to notice that it gets very uncomfortable after sitting in it for more than 30 minutes so she now wants to get an SUV.

It’s due to a combination of shorter wheel base;  stiff suspension (shocks, struts, bushings) - suspension tuned more for sportiness/performance;  low profile wheels/rims;  tire itself (performance tire);  tire pressure.  Elon & Co seemed to have prioritized performance over ride comfort in their vehicles.

Hmm. So it's like a Honda Civic Type R suspension rather than a Honda Civic suspension.
