Good morning gurus.
I'm still relatively new to this forum and have asked a couple of questions, but today I wanted to say thanks, and just give positive feedback from a newbie back yard mechanic (I use that term VERY loosely.) Since following Scotty, and reading this forum in my 2016 4 Runner I've changed the oil, replaced the battery, changed the PCV, gave it a "tune-up" cleaning the mass airflow sensor and throttle body intake, and did a simple change out of my power steering fluid. I know these are simple, but I would have PAID for that in the past. So, you all have saved me money and given me piece of mind. Thank you. Next project is brake pads all they way around, so stand by for questions.
Thank you.
That is the purpose of this forum. I'm glad you have found it beneficial. Brake pads are not a major project so just ask any questions you have and remember, you've got this! {black}
That’s always great to hear back from members on how things went after trying some of the suggestions. Thanks for letting us know, and look forward to the next question!
Nice.
Thank you all again... Once I get a nice day or two here in Virginia I'll be completing the brake pad job on all 4 brakes. Of course I'm sure I'll post a new question for that.
Well done! I’m right there with you. Just watching Scotty YouTube has inspired me to tackle car repairs that I have always paid for.
