Well thanks to the members who helped me and to Scotty for his knowledge, wisdom and experience, we traded off our money pit 2016 Dodge Journey at Ferman Chevrolet in Brandon Florida yesterday for very well maintained and lower mileage Toyota Highlander. This vehicle is fully loaded and drives like a dream, and compared to the Ford Explorer we were looking at plus the Journey the Carfax was clean with one minor recall. You guys helped us out a lot and even my wife was watching Scotty's videos to help with the process.
I do have one additional question about the Highlander though. Is it true that at least every 100,000 miles I should it checked by a Toyota dealer? It currently has 79,000 now. And if possible can my original post be forwarded to Scotty? I know he's a busy man but I owe him a ton of credit for his videos.
Don't waste your time and money taking it to a dealer they'll just try to rip you off I've had more customers with those things come to me when the dealer said they needed $3,500 worth of work and they needed nothing. Just find an independent mechanic like me to check it out
I will do that Scotty.
