The Cat damaged my clutch Fan

Hi Scotty
I have 2022 Ford Ranger 2.2 diesel in Saudi Arabia, The problem last time when I started the engine the cat damaged my clutch fan for my new car, I’m thinking to remove plastic cover between the clutch fan & radiator, to have much room for any cat to go away when I start the engine, is there any impact for removing the plastic cover?

Best regards
Fawaz

the fan shroud is needed for cooling. Especially hot places like the desert.

Try using your key fob to blow the horn and scare the cats away before starting the engine.

Good idea, but some time’s I forgot especially in the morning,

One can only try. Good luck to you and the cat. 🙂
