The dealership put full synthetic and I have an oil change coming up. I wanted to switch it back to synthetic blend. Is that a good idea? On a 2018 ford focus

I always thought that full synthetic was better in modern engines.
FWIW, I think you’ll be fine assuming your owners manual says you can use either. I’ve gone from full synthetic to conventional, back and forth. And I my cars have been fine.
