Hey Scotty
I have a 2010 Volvo XC60 Rdesign With the aisin 6 speed. Paid 15K with 80000 miles 4 years ago now at a 135000 miles . I have replaced the inner outer tie rods control arms sway bar links Rear shocks in all 4 Springs 2 wheel bearings front and back I blame most of this on the stock 20" inch rims . Vehicle Steering wheel shakes 55 and up even with new rims and tires still shakes but magically it all stops and everything goes smooth Sometimes for a couple miles and then back. I have rotated Balanced {black}:idontknow: A-line multiple times
You might need to have an alignment done.
i am not sure if this relevant to your steering issue, but i am still driving my Volvo xc60 2010 AWD(after major engine repair)sole owner -purchased new from Dealership that time
there was a recall for these cars with the steering column -i don`t remember all the details , but if the seals are not replaced then water can seep into the steering column and rust will start to build up....leading to failure of the steering column later down the road
please check..and good luck
hope it helps!
