Sold a car 2 years ago. Guy gave it back to me for 100 bucks. Wouldn't start anymore. I figured out was fuel pump, changed it. Starts runs great.
Its a 1992 Toyota Previa, RWD automatic 206k miles
It runs pretty good no engine lights. Shifts good.
Was curious how much life engine had left. Did a basic compression test with all plugs out.
Each came to 150 psi, one was maybe 152 psi
Is this a good reading? I did not do a leak down test, forgot.
I see online these previas can tow up to 3500lbs. Was going to maybe keep it and use sometimes to tow a small car with my tow bar or a trailer.
Or I might tint it and sell it for 3k. These are very rare in the area I live in.
Appreciate yals help tysm
Compression specs are in the service manual which we gave you the link to before.
@imperator had no idea ty will check it out
the service manual should have all the info you need to fix anything on that car. Fastener torque specs, electrical diagrams... Even part numbers.

Oh that's perfectly acceptable for that age of a vehicle. But they're not really made for towing the transmissions. I'm assuming it's an automatic, aren't really set up for that. If you really want to to tow stuff I'd say salad for 3K and find something else like an old Toyota pickup truck
