What do guys think of this? This is my dad's 1954 Cadillac Series 62 with a 472 Cadillac engine from a 1970 Cadillac sedan Deville.
I'd say that's a real Cadillac hailing from a time when they truly were "The Standard of the World".
Gorgeous.
Sweeeeeeet!
He's had this car since 1996 (before I was born). The original motor (331 V8) was seized up and it was lasted used in 1957. It sat in a junk yard and it bought it for $800. The motor was replaced a few years later and he's restored it ever since. The 472 motor that is in there, he customized to make it sure it fix exactly in correctly. It is paired with a 3-speed automatic and is fuel injected rather than a carburetor. he redid the whole computer and wiring and the computer is used with Megasquirt. He can see what's happening from there and check if anything needs to be fixed.
That thing is better than 1000 Toyota's!
