What do you think of the ford f250's with the 7.3 powerstroke I have hear they are prone to cavitation is that something to be worried about?

You did not mention which year you are looking at. Anyway there is a site that might interest you (click here). Cavitation is something you do not want encounter. It is common maritime problem.
