- I own a 1972 chevy c10 with a automatic transmission and a 307 under the hood, what are your thoughts?

Nice old truck. If no rust, I'd keep it going as I like those old truck (take about ease to work on with economical parts!). And potentially a classic worth $ someday ; )

Probably the last good year before they started the emission control madness. If you live in a part of the country where the bodies don't rust out, you should be able to drive it forever provided you keep up with the preventative maintenance.
