Scotty, I have a 2008 Toyota Highlander with 62000 miles. I hear a thud sound whenever I back out of my driveway which is on an incline. Whenever I reverse anywhere else, there isn't any sound. I brought it to a shop and they said they have no idea what it is. What do you think it could be? A friend of mine thinks it could have something to do with the E-Brake.

Well it could be brakes sticking check that first. Because if not that you could have a problem inside the transmission in reverse gear and that cost a fortune
