Hey Scotty, Great listening to you! We are buying an 06 Tundra V-6 4.0 automatic, with 192,000 miles on it. It has a 1GR-FE engine. Do we need to change the timing chain? I think it is an interference engine? It is a private owner and well maintained!

What is the price?
We paid $4,900 for the truck.

The timing chain is recommended for replacement between 90k - 120k miles. Issues are common with the chain at higher mileage.
I would replace it.
