Scotty. When should the timing chain for a 2009 Lexus IS250 (4GR-FSE) with 129K miles be replaced? The serpentine belt & alternator were recently replaced along with the diff fluid as well. All recalls have been completed except the sticky dashboard issue.

You shouldn’t replace timing chains unless they start to wear out. As far as I know the GR didn’t have timing chain issues meaning you probably won’t have to replace it for quite a while
