I think the problem I am having is loose battery terminal connectors, specifically the negative one. My plan is to use shims on the negative terminal. Any suggestions as to what type of shim is best, or if there is a safe homemade solution that I could use?
I plan on just getting the Amazon ones that pop up. But I am open to ideas from folks that might have shimmed a battery terminal before.

I got the easiest shim in the world buy some 10 gauge wire strip the insulation off then spin it your hands to make it into one long piece then put the piece on the battery post and then Hammer the terminal on top that copper is a great conductor and will make it tight
