According to  https://repairpal.com/estimator , the estimated price for one side wheel bearing replacement is $367 to $475 on a 2003 Lincoln Aviator

Both sides would be $663 to $858

Put it in your Zip code and find out more accurate prices

Is it front wheel, rear wheel, or all wheel drive?

Awd

Assuming the Aviator is like other vehicles.

If it were front wheel drive, I’d say it is too much.

But since it is all wheel drive, those rear wheel bearings take a little more time to remove and replace than if it weren’t drive bearings.

I can’t believe it cost that much, but with repair pal link above, it seems to be within the market rate.

RepairPal seems to be accurate in giving a price range. I use it often to compare prices, while calling around and yelping around to different shops.

Being AWD, that is a pretty good deal.
