- I have 2014 Hyundai Elantra Sport with a manual transmission with 128,616 miles. It has 2.0 liter engine. When my mechanic changes the oil and filter, he refills it 5 quarts of oil. The engine capacity is 4.23 liters. Is he refilling the engine with too much oil?

Just use the dipstick in the engine, or tell the mechanic to check it.
